What It Is

Klipsch The Three+ is an all-in-one stereo from the Heritage Wireless premium line. Looks like a retro wood radio (Walnut variant). Inside: two 60W class-D amps, two 5.25" mid-woofers, one 1" tweeter.

Sources

  • Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD — main
  • AirPlay 2 — iPhone/Mac lossless
  • Chromecast — Android, Spotify
  • USB-DAC, 3.5mm AUX
  • Phono input — built-in preamp for vinyl
  • Rare combo — most BT speakers don't support vinyl.

    Sound After 2 Weeks

Pros: deep bass for 35cm enclosure (~40 Hz solid); excellent vocals; loud enough for 30 m²; tight bass at 100%. Cons: narrow stereo stage (both drivers same enclosure); doesn't like low-bitrate MP3; bright treble above 70% (Klipsch horn signature).
