What "U" Means

1U = standard server equipment height unit = 44.45 mm. 15U cabinet = 15 × 44.45 = 666 mm of usable height.

Wall when: small office ≤10-15 devices, small server room (4-6 m²), gear ≤50 kg. Floor when: medium-large gear (8-15+), normal server room (6+ m²), heavy equipment.
