What "U" Means

1U = standard server equipment height unit = 44.45 mm. 15U cabinet = 15 × 44.45 = 666 mm of usable height.

Wall vs Floor

Wall (4-15U): mounts on wall, 400-600mm depth, front glass door, ≤50 kg recommended, 1.5-2.5M UZS. Floor (12-42U): stands with casters, 600-1000mm depth, both-side access, heavy, 2-7M UZS. Wall when: small office ≤10-15 devices, small server room (4-6 m²), gear ≤50 kg. Floor when: medium-large gear (8-15+), normal server room (6+ m²), heavy equipment.
